Cora Behan

RD, MPH

Registered Dietitian

Cora is a dietitian who enjoys nothing more than supporting clients to achieve their individual goals. She creates a judgment-free, safe space to explore how food can support health and wellbeing at every life stage. She also has an interest in how nutrition can support athletes and their unique goals. Cora takes a client-centred, food first approach, recognizing that every individual is an expert in their own care.

Cora graduated with her BSc in Food and Nutrition with an Honours Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2018 from Brescia University College, London, ON. She then went on to complete her Master in Public Health: Food and Nutrition from Memorial University, St. John’s, NL in 2020. She then worked as a diabetes education dietitian and a public health dietitian in Timmins, ON, before moving back to a farm near her hometown of Cobourg in the fall of 2023. Cora is a member of good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and is a member of Dietitians of Canada.

Cora enjoys any and all continuing education opportunities that present themselves and is currently pursuing the Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutrition Certification to better support the needs of her clients. Cora has a keen interest in maternal and infant health and has undertaken additional training, including Breastfeeding Level I and II to support individuals in making informed infant feeding decisions. She believes in the benefits of intuitive eating and fostering a positive relationship with food and has taken many courses on weight inclusivity.

In her personal time, Cora enjoys spending time outside in the garden; helping out on her parents’ apple orchard; baking pies; making preserves, jams, and jellies; and following bumblebees around to see where they could possibly be heading in such a rush (they invariably give her the slip)! She also enjoys traveling, eating all the delicious foods, and camping with her husband and their dog, Meeko.
